The creation of New York Full Circle began in 1995 with a panoramic sequence of photographs Evans took from the windows of Observation Deck of the South Tower.
To unify the photographically fragmented field of view Evans painted it as one continuous panoramic image on a 24 inch diameter sphere in his Long Island studio in 2002
New York Full Circle is suspended in a special viewing room in which visitors are free to walk around it. Because the painted panosphere has neither frame, fixed composition, nor single perspective, it can be experienced from multiple vantage points simultaneously.
