Paintings - 1980s
In October 1980 I moved to Marin County, North of San Francisco. I had a day job working at Lucasfilm’s Industrial Light & Magic, doing special effects matte paintings for movies. It is a beautiful region and on weekends I enjoyed exploring and painting. My greatest inspiration was found where the open hillsides of Mount Tamalpais roll down to meet the Pacific Ocean to the West. I also took frequent trips back to New York to visit family, friends and galleries.
